Do I need a license to groom pets?
20+ states now require registration or certification (PA, NJ, CA, FL leading). Federal — no. Chapter 2 covers state-by-state.
What is Care, Custody & Control?
It's an insurance rider that covers injury, illness, or death of animals in your professional care. Standard General Liability EXCLUDES this. If you don't have CCC and a client's dog dies on your table, you personally owe. Chapter 4 covers the shopping list.
Mobile grooming vs salon booth — which is better?
Depends on your market density and startup cash. Mobile has higher revenue per stop but 3x the startup cost. Chapter 15 has the decision matrix and 12-month P&L for both.
How do I price doodles without losing customers?
