I do plumbing and HVAC too — should I get those kits?
If you do significant plumbing or HVAC volume, yes. The Handyman kit covers light cross-trade work. For full plumbing or HVAC operations, the trade-specific kits go much deeper.
Is this for solo operators or companies with employees?
Both. Chapters 1–10 are for solo operators building the foundation. Chapters 11–20 cover hiring your first employee or sub.
Does it help with pricing labor vs materials?
Yes. Chapter 4 covers the markup formula and when to bill materials separately vs bundled into a flat rate.
My customers always want hourly. How do I switch to flat rate?
